The Main Street has a selection of small shops, including a fish and chip shop and Chinese . At the bottom of the gently sloping street is hopeman harbour. The harbour is popular with small leisure boats.

Hopeman has two sandy beaches split by the harbour. The east and west beach. The east beach is sandy mixed with rock and has lots of beautifully painted beach hutsÂ
